Sentence Builder
You get an English sentence and shuffled Japanese words. Drag them into the correct order. It forces you to apply word order and particle rules actively, not just recognize them.
Tips
- Use the translation. Spot who, when, where, what, then map to Japanese order.
- Read the particles. を = object, に = to/at, で = at/by. They tell you where each chunk belongs.
- Verb last. 食べます, 行きます and every other verb goes in the final slot.
- Use "Show correction" when you're wrong. Study the correct order before moving on.
Reading Practice
Short graded stories written in Japanese. You read real sentences at your level and see how the grammar you learned appears in natural context — particles, word order, verb forms all at once.
How to use it
- Tap any word to see its reading and meaning without breaking your flow.
- Read the whole sentence first, guess the meaning, then check the vocabulary.
- Do the quiz at the end of each story to check your comprehension.
- Start with N5 stories. Move up when you can read without looking up every word.
