どこも Verb ません

Express 'nowhere / not anywhere' without a directional particle polite form.

At a glance

どこも + negative verb means "not anywhere" or "nowhere". In conversation it is often used with 行いく without the particle へ or に.

どこも + Verb-ません

日曜日にちようびはどこも行いきませんでした。 I didn't go anywhere on Sunday.

How to form it

Put どこも before a verb in the negative form:

Form Polite Casual
Present negative どこも行いきません どこも行いかない
Past negative どこも行いきませんでした どこも行いかなかった

The full form keeps the particle before も: どこへも行いきません or どこにも行いきません. Both mean the same thing.
