なんでも~

Express that anything at all is fine or possible, with an affirmative verb; 'anything', 'everything'.

At a glance

なんでも means "anything" or "everything". It is used with an affirmative verb or with いい to say that there is no limit on what something can be.

なんでも + verb (affirmative)
なんでも + いいです

なんでも食たべます。 I eat anything.

How to form it

Put なんでも before the verb or before いい. It works in polite and casual speech.

Pattern Example Meaning
なんでも + verb なんでも食たべます。 I eat anything.
なんでも + いい なんでもいいです。 Anything is fine.
なんでも + ある なんでもあります。 There's everything.
Topic は + なんでも + verb 飲のみ物ものはなんでもいいです。 Any drink is fine.

The でも in なんでも takes the place of を and が. Say なんでも食たべます, not なんでもを食たべます.
